Hasmik Rafayelyan

Hasmik Rafayelyan was born in 1984 in the city of Spitak. She graduated from Yerevan State University, Faculty of Law, earning both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Law.

Since 2006, she has been a member of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia and is a licensed attorney. She regularly participates in professional training and qualification enhancement programs, continuously developing her professional knowledge and skills.

Professional Experience

She began her legal career in 2006 as a legal consultant at the “Golden Lex” law firm.

Over the years, she has held responsible positions in leading organizations, including:

• Head of the Civil Law Department at “Zohrabyan and Partners” law firm,
• Corporate Lawyer at the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies,
• Head of the Legal Department at “ABSTRACT” LLC (since 2012).

Since 2015, she has been working at “SIL INSURANCE” CJSC, where she currently holds the position of Head of the Legal Department.

Scope of Responsibilities and Expertise

As Head of the Legal Department, she coordinates and ensures the corporate legal support of the company and provides legal consulting to its structural divisions.

Within her professional responsibilities, she:

• Represents the company’s rights and legitimate interests in the courts of the Republic of Armenia, state and non-state bodies, as well as before the Office of the Financial System Mediator,
• Conducts legal review of internal legal acts, contracts, and insurance product terms,
• Monitors and analyzes changes in Armenian legislation and judicial practice.

She is married and has two children.
