Zaruhi Ayvazyan

Zaruhi Ayvazyan was born in 1985 in Yerevan, Armenia. She holds a Master’s degree in Insurance Business from the Armenian State University of Economics.

She began her professional career in 2003 at Prime Insurance Brokers LLC, where she worked as a Manager-Coordinator. Since 2007, she has been working at SIL Insurance CJSC and currently holds the position of Head of the Reinsurance Department.

Within her professional responsibilities, she manages and coordinates the company’s reinsurance processes, develops reinsurance programs and contracts, organizes cooperation with reinsurers and brokers, oversees reinsurance contracts, and conducts analysis of the reinsurance portfolio and the market.

Throughout her career, she has regularly participated in international training programs and professional courses. In particular, she has attended SCOR SE training programs such as “P&C Reinsurance Fundamentals and Insights,” “P&C Non-Proportional Reinsurance – Advanced Techniques,” “Parametric Covers,” “Compulsory Liability Insurance,” and the “Engineering Campus” program. She has also completed training in Allianz’s “Property & Engineering Insurance” program, as well as online courses by Polish Re, including “Political Violence Insurance,” “Underinsurance in Property Risks,” and “Contingency Business Interruption (CBI).”

After passing professional qualification examinations, she was awarded the Chartered Insurance Institute Level 3 Certificate in Insurance.

Over the years, she has participated in international reinsurance meetings, conferences, and business negotiations, working closely with global reinsurers and brokers.

She is married and has three children.
